Healing Vihtonta
Vihtonta is a blend of massage, herbal medicine, and aromatherapy.
The health benefits of the sauna can be taken to the next level by incorporating natural elements and manual massage treatments. Approximately 15 minutes of vihtonta from a traditional Sauna Healer is equivalent to at least 45 minutes of classical massage.
The warmth and löyly (steam) work hand in hand with the gentle vihtonta, enhancing its benefits even further. Vihtonta relaxes and revitalizes tissues, increases metabolism, and boosts circulation. It purifies the skin and promotes the removal of toxins.
Vihtas made from various trees and plants bring the aromatic and healing power of the plants through both breathing and skin contact.
Treatment Sauna Lovi
The sauna treatments are conducted in the treatment sauna, Lovi, located within the sauna area. In front of the sauna, there is a small area for cooling down and relaxing. A shower, changing room, and outdoor toilet are available for treatment guests. Please note that access to the smoke sauna or hot tubs is not included in the treatment price; entrance tickets can be purchased separately.
Sauna Healers
The sauna treatments are provided by the Sauna Healers at Sipoonjoki traditional sauna: Laura Foon, Joonas Vaarala, and Saara Mäntykoski. They have extensive experience in massage and sauna treatments.
If you prefer to be treated by a female Sauna Healer, please book your session during the women’s sauna on Tuesdays.
