Customer
The customer agrees to comply with these and merchant-specific terms when purchasing products and services through Havuhattu Oy’s online services.


General Terms

  • The prices displayed in the online service include VAT.

  • We sell products to adults, both private individuals and business clients.

  • We reserve the right to change prices.

  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.

  • We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. Customers must familiarize themselves with the current delivery terms before placing an order.


Reservation Terms

These terms apply to rent and bookable products and services, collectively referred to as the “destination”.

Booking

  • The customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the description and instructions of the reserved destination and the related terms.

  • The booking made by the customer is binding once the order/payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The customer pays for the reservation using the payment method of their choice, adhering to the payment method's conditions.

  • The reservation system will send an order/payment confirmation to the email address provided by the customer.

  • The merchant is not responsible for unsuccessful bookings; the customer must promptly contact the merchant to rectify the situation.

  • The merchant does not guarantee that the destination is still available in this case.

  • If the destination is unavailable, the money will be refunded or, if possible, an alternative destination will be offered.

Cancellations and Changes

  • The cancellation date is the day the merchant receives the cancellation notice.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent in a timely manner.

If the customer cancels their reservation for a private session, event, or traditional sauna evening:

  • 14 days or more before the start of the reservation: cancellation is free of charge. The previously paid amount will be refunded.

  • Less than 14 days but at least 7 days before the start of the reservation: 50% of the price will be charged. Alternatively, the reservation can be transferred to another date.

  • Less than 7 days before the start of the reservation: the full price will be charged.

If the customer cancels their reservation for a public session:

  • 7 days or more before the start of the reservation: cancellation is free of charge. The previously paid amount will be refunded.

  • Less than 7 days but at least 48 hours before the start of the reservation: 50% of the entrance fee will be charged. Alternatively, the reservation can be transferred to another date.

  • Less than 48 hours before the start of the reservation: the full entrance fee will be charged.

The reservation for public sessions can be transferred at the customer's request under the following conditions:

  • The transfer can only be made once.

  • The transfer must occur no later than 2 days before the original reservation starts.

  • If the transferred reservation is canceled, the full price will always be charged, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

Merchant's Right to Cancel Reservations

In case of force majeure, the merchant may cancel the reservation. The cancellation will be communicated immediately to the customer who rented the destination.

In this case, the customer has the right to receive a full refund. Any costs incurred by the customer due to a cancellation caused by force majeure will not be compensated.


Use of the Destination

  • The destination is defined in the destination description.

  • The customer has the right to use the destination and its equipment as well as any specifically defined services during the rental period.

  • If the renter notices any deficiencies or other issues with the destination, they must immediately inform the sauna staff.

  • The destination is available for the customer’s use for the period specified in the destination description.


Compensation for Damages

The customer is obliged to compensate the merchant for any damages caused to the destination. The renter is also responsible for damages caused by other individuals visiting the destination during the reservation period.

The merchant is not liable for any inconveniences or costs incurred by the customer due to natural conditions, such as insects, animals, icy conditions, or unexpected weather changes.


Complaints

All complaints must be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.

If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached or if there is a claim for compensation, the complaint must be sent in writing within one month of the end of the rental period.

The merchant will aim to process the complaint as quickly as possible, within a maximum of one month.

If the customer and the merchant cannot reach an agreement, the customer may submit the dispute to the Consumer Dispute Board for resolution.


Payment Terms

The merchant uses reliable and secure payment processing parties for its services.

The merchant does not store bank account or credit card information at any time.

The customer agrees to comply with the conditions of the chosen payment method.

Invoice Payment

  • The invoice must be paid by the due date specified on the invoice.

  • Invoicing is only possible for businesses and organizations.

  • Late payment will incur interest charges after the due date. If the invoice is paid after the due date using the original invoice and late fees have already accrued, those charges will be invoiced separately.

  • If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of order, the merchant will not process the order.


Terms Related to Training and Other Long-Term Courses

  • Registration is binding.

  • A reservation fee of approximately 10% of the course price is due at the time of registration.

  • The reservation fee is refundable only if the participant presents a medical certificate indicating a reason preventing participation. However, the reservation fee can be transferred to a later equivalent course without charge.

  • Paid course fees will be refunded minus a €60 administration fee if participation is canceled at least 30 days before the course starts.

  • For cancellations made 30 days or less before the course starts, refunds for the course fee will be made only for the remaining complete course sessions if the participant presents a medical certificate indicating a reason preventing participation. Refunds will be made minus a €60 administration fee. However, the course fee can be transferred to a later equivalent course without charge.

  • For businesses, VAT will be added to the course price.

  • Depending on the nature of the course, a replacement participant can be arranged for the course.

  • If a course or event is canceled for reasons dependent on Havuhattu Oy, the reservation fee and course fees will be fully refunded.
