Customer

The Customer agrees to comply with these and the merchant-specific terms when purchasing products and services through Havuhattu Oy’s online services.

General Terms

The prices displayed in the online service include VAT.

We sell products to adult private individuals as well as business customers.

We reserve the right to change prices.

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. The Customer must review the currently valid terms of delivery before placing an order.

Reservation Terms

These terms apply to rental and bookable products and services. Collectively these are referred to as the “item.”

Reservations

The Customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the description, instructions, and terms of the reserved item(s).

A reservation made by the Customer becomes binding once the order/payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the Customer.

The Customer pays for the reservation according to the chosen payment method and its terms.

The reservation system sends an order/payment confirmation to the email address provided by the Customer.

The Merchant is not responsible for failed reservations; the Customer must immediately contact the Merchant to resolve the situation.

The Merchant does not guarantee that the item is still available in such a situation.

If the item is not available, the payment will be refunded or, if possible, an alternative item will be offered.

Cancellations and Changes

The cancellation date is the date on which the Merchant receives notice of the cancellation.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring the cancellation is sent in sufficient time.

If the Customer cancels a reservation for a private session, event, or traditional sauna evening:

14 days or more before the reservation: cancellation is free of charge, and any payments made will be refunded.

Less than 14 days but at least 7 days before: 50% of the price will be charged. Alternatively, the reservation may be moved to another date.

Less than 7 days before: the full price will be charged.

If the Customer cancels a reservation for a public session:

48 hours or more before the reservation: cancellation is free of charge, and any payments made will be refunded. Alternatively, the reservation may be moved to another date.

Less than 48 hours before: the full ticket price will be charged.

Changing a public session reservation (seat reservation):

A transfer can only be made once.

The transfer must be requested at least 2 days before the original reservation date.

If a transferred reservation is cancelled, the full price will always be charged regardless of the cancellation time.

Merchant’s Right to Cancel a Reservation

In case of force majeure, the Merchant may cancel the reservation. Notice of cancellation will be given to the Customer without delay.

The Customer is then entitled to a full refund.

Costs incurred by the Customer due to a cancellation caused by force majeure will not be compensated.

Use of the Item

The item is defined in the item description.

During the rental period, the Customer has the right to use the item, its equipment, and any separately specified services.

If the Customer notices deficiencies or issues with the item, they must immediately inform the sauna staff.

The item is available to the Customer during the time defined in the item description.

Compensation for Damages

The Customer is liable to compensate the Merchant for any damage they cause to the item. The Customer is also responsible for any other guests present and for any damage they cause during the reservation period.

The Merchant does not compensate for any inconvenience or costs caused to the Customer by natural conditions such as insects, animals, road damage, or unexpected weather changes.

Complaints

Any complaints must always be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.

If no satisfactory solution is reached or if the matter involves a compensation claim, the complaint must be submitted in writing within one month of the end of the rental period.

The Merchant aims to handle complaints as quickly as possible, but within a maximum of one month.

If the Customer and Merchant cannot reach an agreement, the Customer may submit the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.

Payment Terms

The Merchant uses reliable and secure payment intermediaries.

The Merchant does not store bank or credit card information at any stage.

The Customer agrees to comply with the terms of the chosen payment method.

Payment by Invoice

The invoice must be paid by the due date indicated on it.

Invoicing is only available to companies and organizations.

Late payments will always incur penalty fees. If the invoice has been paid after the due date using the original invoice and penalty fees have already accrued, these fees will be invoiced separately.

If the payment transaction has not been successfully completed at the time of ordering, the Merchant will not process the order.

Terms for Trainings and Long-Term Courses

Registration is binding.

The booking fee is €200 and must be paid at the time of registration.

The booking fee will only be refunded if the participant provides a medical certificate preventing participation. However, the booking fee can be transferred to a later equivalent course free of charge.

Course fees already paid will be refunded minus a €60 administrative fee if participation is cancelled at least 30 days before the course starts.

For cancellations made 30 days or less before the course starts, course fees will be refunded for the remaining full course sessions only if the participant provides a medical certificate preventing participation. Refunds are made minus a €60 administrative fee. However, the course fee can be transferred to a later equivalent course free of charge.

For companies, VAT will be added to the course price.

Depending on the nature of the course, a replacement participant may be arranged.

If the course or event is cancelled due to reasons attributable to Havuhattu Oy, both the booking fee and course fees will be fully refunded.
